**Krauskopf Takes Fucking Charge: New Fever President**

Veteran Executive Returns to Helm of Rising Franchise

In a move that signals a new era of growth and success, Kelly Krauskopf is set to return to the Indiana Fever as president of both basketball and business operations at the conclusion of the current season. Krauskopf previously led the franchise from 2000 to 2018, guiding the team to a WNBA championship in 2012 and two additional finals appearances in 2009 and 2015.

Krauskopf’s return comes at a pivotal moment, as the Fever is experiencing unprecedented growth and popularity, led by star rookie Caitlin Clark. The team has topped the league in attendance, averaging over 17,000 fans at home and 15,000 on the road.

“I’m thrilled to return to the Fever and contribute to this exciting new chapter in women’s basketball,” Krauskopf said. “My experience working with the Pacers’ management staff has prepared me well for this next challenge, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead this talented team.”

Krauskopf will succeed Allison Barber, who announced her departure as president and COO earlier this month. With a storied career spanning over two decades, Krauskopf has established herself as a trailblazer in women’s basketball, having been hired as the WNBA’s first director of basketball operations in 1996.

“Kelly’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping the Fever’s success, and we’re ecstatic to have her back at the helm,” said Mel Raines, CEO of Pacers Sports and Entertainment. “Her expertise and passion for the sport make her the ideal candidate to lead the Fever into this new era of growth and excellence.”
