**FUCKING NIGHTMARE: Feyenoord’s Santi Giménez Sidelined for 3 Months with Thigh Injury**

**Mexican Star Forward Sidelined with Thigh Injury**

In a devastating blow to Feyenoord and the Mexican national team, star forward Santiago Giménez is set to miss three months of action due to a thigh injury sustained during a recent match against NAC Breda.

Giménez, who has been in impressive form this season with four goals in seven appearances, will be sidelined for several key matches, including Mexico’s highly anticipated friendly against the United States on October 15 in Guadalajara.

The injury will also keep him out of both legs of Mexico’s Concacaf Nations League quarterfinals in November, with opponents yet to be confirmed. This is a significant setback for the Mexican team, which has come to rely on Giménez’s goal-scoring prowess.

Since joining Feyenoord from Liga MX’s Cruz Azul in July 2022, Giménez has made a lasting impact, netting 23 goals in 45 games across all competitions in his debut season. His impressive form earned him a starting spot in the team and helped propel Feyenoord to the league title.

Giménez’s success at the club level also caught the attention of then-Mexico head coach Gerardo “Tata” Martino, who handed him a call-up to the national team. He has since earned 30 international caps and has become a key player for Mexico.
