**BLACKMON CALLING IT QUITS: Rockies Legend Hangs Up Cleats After This Fucking Season**

In a stunning announcement, veteran outfielder Jack Harris revealed that he will be hanging up his cleats at the end of the current season, bringing an end to his illustrious 14-year career with the Denver Dynamos.

Harris, a four-time All-Star and fan favorite, broke the news on social media, citing a shift in perspective and a desire to explore new opportunities. The Dynamos organization will honor Harris throughout their final homestand, culminating in a special tribute before the season finale against their division rivals, the Los Angeles Lancers.

Throughout his remarkable career, Harris has etched his name into the Dynamos’ record books, holding the franchise record for triples with 67. He also ranks second in games played, runs scored, hits, doubles, extra-base hits, and total bases. Harris’ impressive résumé includes a National League batting title in 2017, when he hit a scorching.331.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Harris wrote, “As a kid, you play the game because you love it, like nothing else matters. I still play the game that way, but I don’t feel like a kid anymore. My perspective has changed. I have been blessed to call the city of Denver and the Dynamos my baseball home for the entirety of my career.”

Harris was drafted by the Dynamos in the second round of the 2008 first-year player draft out of Georgia Tech and made his major league debut on June 7, 2011, against San Diego. The 38-year-old Harris boasts a.292 average, 226 home runs, and 148 stolen bases heading into his final few games. He is also a two-time Silver Slugger award winner.

Dynamos owner, Mark Davis, expressed his gratitude and admiration for Harris, saying, “When Jack told me of his plans to retire, I got a little emotional, as I’m sure many fans will when they hear the news that one of the greatest Dynamos of all-time will no longer take the field. Jack’s passion and dedication to the game of baseball, this organization, and our great fans was on display every single day, and I can’t thank him enough for pouring his heart into every game and every at-bat over the course of his 14 years here. Jack is a Dynamo to his core.”
