**HUSKERS LAND QB PROSPECT DAYTON RAIOLA, BROTHER OF DYLAN!**

Fresh Commitment Alert!

Meet the newest addition to the Cornhuskers family – Dayton Raiola, a talented quarterback from Georgia’s Buford High School. The 5-foot-11, 215-pound junior has pledged his commitment to Nebraska, following in the footsteps of his older brother, Dylan Raiola, who’s making waves as the program’s starting quarterback.

Dayton, a left-handed signal-caller, has led his high school team to a 4-1 start this fall, showcasing his skills as a worthy successor to his brother’s legacy. The Raiola family has a rich history with Nebraska, with their father, Dominic, being a two-time All-Big 12 selection from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, their uncle, Donovan, serves as the team’s offensive line coach, and their sister, Taylor, is a graduate manager in the recruiting department.

Dayton’s commitment marks the first pledge in the 2026 cycle for Nebraska, and he’s excited to carry on the family tradition. “THE LEGACY CONTINUES #OHANA #COMMITTED,” he wrote on social media.

With this new addition, the Cornhuskers are building a strong foundation for their future. Coach Matt Rhule’s incoming 2025 class already boasts top talent, including top-100 outside linebacker Christian Jones and four other ESPN 300 commits. As of now, Nebraska’s 2025 class ranks 23rd in ESPN’s latest team rankings.

The Cornhuskers will look to bounce back from their recent loss to Illinois when they visit Purdue in Week 5. Catch all the action and stay up-to-date on your favorite sports teams!
