Imagine a secret messaging group where the top college football coaches in the country gather to discuss the latest developments in the sport. It’s a far-fetched idea, but let’s suspend reality for a moment and explore the possibilities.
In this hypothetical chat, you’d have coaching legends like Ryan Day, Sherrone Moore, Lincoln Riley, and Matt Rhule, among others, sharing their thoughts and opinions on everything from upcoming games to recruiting strategies. But it’s not all serious business – you’d also have coaches like PJ Fleck sending daily motivational quotes and maybe even a few food pictures or photos of their loved ones.
But what if things got a little more heated? What if Jim Harbaugh, notorious for his competitive spirit, sent a provocative message or two after a big win? Or what if Ryan Day started taunting his rivals with pictures of his team’s latest victories?
As entertaining as this scenario might be, it’s unlikely that such a chat exists in reality. These coaches are professionals, after all, and they have to maintain a level of decorum and respect for one another. But it’s fun to imagine what might happen if they let their guard down and started trash-talking like a group of old friends.
And who knows? Maybe someday, through a freedom of information request or some other means, we’ll get a glimpse into the private conversations of these coaching legends. Until then, we can only speculate about what might be going on behind the scenes.
