**Touchdown Sensation: Rising Star Makes Waves in Inglewood**
In a thrilling display of athleticism, running back sensation Kyren Williams catapulted into the end zone, securing the Los Angeles Rams’ first touchdown of the game. With 1:11 remaining in the first half, Williams caught a pass from quarterback Matthew Stafford on 2nd-and-9 from the San Francisco 15, flipping his way to a spectacular score.
This marked Williams’ third consecutive game with a touchdown, with his first-ever aerial score. The talented running back also racked up 49 rushing yards on 12 attempts, showcasing his impressive versatility. Kicker Joshua Karty, who had been nursing a groin injury, successfully kicked the extra point, narrowing the 49ers’ lead to 14-7.
Williams’ impressive performance made him the third different Rams player to score a scrimmage touchdown in each of the team’s first three games of a season over the last 20 years, joining elite company alongside Cooper Kupp and Todd Gurley.
Later in the third quarter, Williams struck again, scoring his second touchdown of the game with a three-yard run on first and goal. This remarkable feat marked his second career game with both a rushing and receiving touchdown, with the previous occurrence coming against the 49ers in Week 2 last season.
