College Football’s Wild Ride Continues
In a season marked by unpredictability, Week 4 did not disappoint. Michigan, the defending national champions, found themselves on the ropes before a late-game surge secured a 27-24 win over USC. The Wolverines relied on their powerful running game, amassing 290 yards on the ground, including 159 from Kalel Mullings.
Meanwhile, Miami dominated USF, 50-15, behind Cam Ward’s 404 yards and three touchdowns. The Hurricanes are now 4-0 and looking like a force to be reckoned with in the ACC.
Tennessee, once a powerhouse, is back in the mix after a 25-15 win over Oklahoma. The Volunteers’ defense stifled the Sooners, while their offense did just enough to secure the victory.
In other notable games, Indiana remained undefeated with a 51-3 thrashing of ULM, and Colorado pulled off a stunning 38-31 win over Baylor, capped off by a game-saving fumble in overtime.
The Heisman race is heating up, with Cam Ward, Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, and Colorado’s Travis Hunter leading the pack. And in a season marked by upsets, the Big 12 and ACC are struggling to keep pace with the SEC and Big Ten.
In a wild finish, Washington State edged San José State, 54-52, in double overtime. The game featured six lead changes, three ties, and a ridiculous fourth-down catch by TreyShun Hurry.
As the season continues to unfold, one thing is certain: college football is as unpredictable as ever.
